For this still life I dwelled on capturing my experiences through different objects prominent in my life. I painted a large sea shell during quarantine (desperate for entertainment) while the purse represents my social life, as I wore it out in Sophomore year. The medal showcases the achievements that I won during my History Day projects. When I was twelve I got the watch depicted in the drawing, and I wore it every day until I found it boring. The lipglosses connect to the era I’m in now, where I care more about my appearance. These objects come together in my still life, almost like a time capsule with the different memories of my life.
